With Bryan you don't just take pictures, you make pictures. In this case the entire scene was made as this was just a concrete wall with everything you see gathered from nearby planter boxes.
In the warehouse district where I got my shot that looks like it came from the Palouse was this ugly building. With some fun play with the Nik Software Collection (discount on my blog) I came up with a fun interpretation of art out of garbage. Yes, this is one of those over the top HDR shots with noise INTENTIONALLY added to increase the grunginess.
Our long awaited sunrise Golden Hour at Kerry Park never arrived, so we all decided that getting up at 4:00 AM to do it again the next couple days wasn't worth it. I got < 2 hours sleep that day to make this shoot, so I was quite happy to pass on any more sunrise shoots!
Unprocessed Random Photo from the shoot - Interesting idea, but that bird is pretty ugly so I didn't bother processing this shot. Now if it were an Eagle we'd be in business! :D Lesson learned from Bryan - bring your own Eagle!
Unprocessed Random Photo from the shoot - Fun shot from the graffiti wall that I'd enjoy processing one day but just don't have time. That tripod on the right really annoyed me too so always remember to pay attention to the FULL frame before packing in!
Unprocessed Random Photo from the shoot - Kerry Park for the Sunrise Golden Hour that would never happen
It was a treat to be a fly on the wall capturing these elderly men fish.
During our failed sunrise shoot I enjoyed the clouds in the sky so I captured them for use as a texture or sky replacement on another day.
I started but didn't get to finish this shot at the graffiti wall.
